Do you need faucet repair? Leaking faucets are a big problem. A trillion gallons of water are lost each year due to them. High Mark is here to help you fix your leaky faucets. Many faucets need only a quick inspection by our expert plumbers. Others may need replacement and we are just one call away, no matter your needs
It’s not uncommon for faucets to malfunction, resulting in water spilling over walls and floors. However, it’s important to remain calm and not panic. You can still stop the water flow by turning off the shut-off valves, which are typically located beneath the sink. These valves are round and come in pairs, one for hot water and one for cold water. Simply turn both clockwise to stop the flow.
At times, the shut-off valves may have become stuck from lack of use. In this case, gently turn the knob back and forth with a pair of pliers until the rubber seat inside loosens. Avoid using excessive force as it could cause more significant plumbing issues. If the valve turns freely but does not shut off the water flow, tighten the set screw on the valve face and try again.
Once you have successfully shut off the water, give us a call, and we’ll send a professional to fix your faucet.
