Drain Cleaners Are Safe On Your Pipes
FALSE – Drain cleaners that you can buy at your grocery store or hardware store are not safe for your pipes. They can contain chemicals that can erode your pipes over time.
When you are having a clogged drain issue, call a professional plumber. The blockage will be removed safely and without the use of harmful chemicals.
All Plumbers Are Created Equal
FALSE – If in any profession everyone was equal we would not have every had a Wayne Gretzky, Babe Ruth or Joe Montana. Each plumber may have a different skill set due to the training they have taken and the issues they regularly work on.
Ask your plumber about their ability on the problem you are hiring them for. It may save you money in the long run.

It Is Ok To Flush Your Goldfish
FALSE – It is ok to flush a dead goldfish but it is surprising how many people flush a live goldfish once it is no longer wanted. When you flush little Nemo down thinking you are sending him to a better place, you are wrong. The live fish will travel down through the sewer system and eventually end up in a stream, if it survives.
Once it has reached a stream or river, the ecosystem will now have an alien invader that could disrupt the system.
Animals Can’t Get Into Your Home Via Your Toilet
FALSE – If you believe your toilet is safe from intrusion by animals, you have not been on the internet in years. Rats, mice and snakes have been known to appear in toilets.
This is a good reason to check your bowl before you take a seat!
